Privacy notice
Your privacy,
clearly explained.
This page explains how we process personal data when you visit our website, contact us or request a quote. This notice is provided under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
Access is limited to authorised people and necessary technical service providers.
Email studio@segnodo.com to request access, correction or deletion.
Data controller
The data controller is MeM Group SrlS, with its registered office at Via Enrico Reginato 85/H, 31100 Treviso, Italy, VAT no. 05079580261.
For any privacy-related request, email studio@segnodo.com.
What data we process
When you use the contact form, we may collect your full name, email address, services of interest, budget range, project information and any other details you choose to include in your message.
If you propose a professional collaboration, we may also process information about your skills, experience, availability, portfolio, CV and links to professional profiles or projects that you choose to share.
When you browse the website, the systems that deliver it may also collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, request time, page visited and any errors. This information is normally recorded in the server's technical logs.
Don't include passwords, health information, identity documents or other particularly sensitive information in the form: we don't need it to assess your project.
Why we use your data
We use your data to contact you, understand your enquiry, assess its feasibility and prepare a proposal. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
We use information you send voluntarily to review your skills and availability, respond to your proposal and consider a possible professional relationship. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Technical data may be used to prevent abuse, diagnose problems and protect the website. The legal basis is the controller's legitimate interest in the security of its systems, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Only with your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to produce aggregate visit statistics and improve the content and experience. The legal basis is consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you can withdraw at any time.
If we enter into a professional relationship, some data may be processed to meet administrative, tax and accounting obligations, under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
We don't use form data for newsletters or promotional communications without a separate legal basis and, where required, specific consent. We don't make solely automated decisions or carry out user profiling.
Do you have to provide your data?
Providing data is optional. However, fields marked as required are needed to receive and assess your enquiry: without this information, we cannot respond or prepare a proposal.
Submitting the form does not automatically mean we accept the work. Each project is assessed for availability, feasibility and fit with Segnodo's way of working.
How we process and protect your data
We process data using digital tools and organisational measures appropriate to the risk. Access is limited to authorised people and providers who need it to deliver technical services.
Who may receive your data
Your data is not made public or sold. Where necessary, it may be shared with providers of hosting, email, form management, IT support and administrative services, and with professional advisers. If you allow analytics cookies, browsing data may also be processed by Google Ireland Limited, the provider of Google Analytics. Where required, these parties act as data processors under Article 28 GDPR.
Data may also be disclosed to public authorities where required by law. You can request an up-to-date list of processors from the controller.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Some digital providers, including Google when you consent to Analytics, may also process data outside the European Economic Area. Any such transfer will only take place under an adequacy decision or safeguards recognised by the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses, together with any necessary supplementary measures.
How long we keep your data
Enquiries that do not lead to a professional relationship are kept for as long as needed to manage the contact and, as a rule, no longer than 12 months after the last communication, unless retention is needed to protect our rights in a dispute.
Collaboration proposals that do not lead to an assignment may be kept for up to 12 months so we can contact the professional about opportunities suited to their profile. They are then deleted unless contact is renewed.
If work is commissioned, the data becomes part of the contractual and administrative records and is retained for the periods required by applicable law. Technical logs are kept for the period set by the service provider and, in any event, as long as necessary for security.
Your rights
Where provided for by the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and object to processing. To exercise your rights, email studio@segnodo.com. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) or seek a judicial remedy.
Updates
This notice may be updated if the website, providers or processing practices change. The latest version is always published on this page with its update date.
